Of Halloween, Shaving, and my Grandparents

Posted November 8th, 2008 at 08:24 PM by Eragon1882

I'm back, with interesting stuff to blog about. On Halloween, I went to the dance, dressed as a bag of jelly beans. My Mom (seeing as I'm a lazy ass) took a giant Ziploc bag, filled it with ballons, put some string to go around my neck on it, and wrote "Jelly Beans" on it. At the Halloween dance, some kid got punched in the face and there was blood splattered on the gym floor. It was kinda interesting but creepy.

I just got done shaving for the first time! I had shaving cream and the razors and everything. My Mom videotaped before, during and after shaving. My Dad said he couldn't remember everyone making a big deal out of shaving when he was young .

After this I called my grandparents, which leads me into my third topic. I talked to my Grandma, and then to my Grandpa. I got emotional during my talk with my Grandfather. I didn't let it show in my voice, though. I hung up after talking with my Grandma again and my Mom asked me why I was crying. I said my Grandpa was very funny (It's true) and "I don't know what else." So then she figured out I was worried about him. He was very tired when I saw him yesterday. I'm told his back is hurting him. I don't see my grandparents often, though they're 15 minutes away. They're going to pick me up after school on Wednesdays now so I can see them. That'll be a comfort.
