Voice Cracking

My voice has been cracking for a long time now. Sometimes I'll yell at someone (Playfully, like telling a joke) and my voice will crack. I think this significantly reduces the effectivness of the yell.
I am currently eating cotton candy and my Mini-Dachsund (Bella) is trying to jump onto the office chair I'm in. She keeps slipping and falling off
