Modern Barbie Gets Kinky

In July or so, a Barbie version of Black Canary or w/e was set for release. About 45 dollars being a collectors item for DC Comic fans. But this sparked controversy among parents because of Barbies "Outfit" Being in all Black, fishnet stockings, and black boots. Claiming it to be kinky and not a good influence for kiddies.

My parents of course bought one for my Barbie collection. (Doubt it will be on Shelves much longer. AND YES I COLLECTION BARBIES) Teehee, but I ain't getting it until I move out. :I

What are your thoughts on this?

Ok, its being described as a collector's item mainly targeted at DC Comic fans. Therefore, I think parents should stop complaining about
it. Mattel will most likely sell the doll at comic book stores, hobby stores, etc. instead of something like Wal-Mart or Target which means it will most likely only be accessible by more mature people. I don't see very many younger kids going into comic book stores or hobby stores. What I mean by younger kids is like 7 years old, and still plays with them. Collecting is a whole different thing, so no offence.

When I was little, whenever I'd go over to my aunt's house, my cousin would force me to play with her, and I remember that I'd strip her barbies and stare at their boobs. I know .. I've got problems .. -__-

I spent some time trying to find an image of Ken as a pimp (wasn't successful). Weird because seeing this picture of Barbie made be think of the Bratz dolls... What's the big freaking deal? How many of these parents are complaining about this one doll, refusing to buy Barbies because of it... Then head over and get their kids a Bratz doll instead?! The target market isn't kids (as evidenced by the higher price. It is for collectors and/or for Barbie pervs like Ra. :p

Besides, making all this fuss just gets more free advertising for the toy. When will parent groups learn?!

Here's an idea. We need to get the word out about nonTT... Maybe we need to get something controversial here so religious/parent/whatever groups make a big fuss and give us some free advertising... Who has the best/most controversial idea to pull this off? These kinds of things are ridiculous but keep happening time and time again. Might as well make use of it!

I think the only thing we need to do, is list Admin, Zoe, Ra, Tigerlilly and my intimate secrets, then write a really long article about really controversial issues, Turtles, Crab free balls, stripping barbies, Animal Genitals (Especially Echidna's), Humping turtles, Micheal Jackson, Britney spears, Ja-poo-nese, wanglish, wangstas, baby names, annoying noises and ummm, what else? Oh! I forgot to include red panties and Penile Preforated Pasties. There. I think that should be enough to get us onto the front page of Engadget, CNN and where else?

But then of course we don't want parent's joining here who are so full of them selves, thinking we are all sickos. Sending us hate mail and crap.

Anyway, I will get to work writing an article like this and submitting it. Right after I finish up the dance off.
