Anything that makes fun of those ridiculous vampire stories AND Jesus in one go gets serious props from me!

Vampires are RIDICULOUS. Leave them in historical fiction where they belong.

WTF kind of name for a series is TWILIGHT?

Oh yes, Ann Rice was awesome. But that's the only exception. People and their overdramatic, "woe is me but alas I am awesome" self-absorbed vampires who walk around in pleather pretending to be angsty. If life REALLY sucks that much, you don't take the time to go shopping for PLEATHER!

Turns out a friend of mine has actually saen he movie. He said it wasn't all that but I am dying to get more detail (and/or a copy to watch myself)

I have a new movie idea... People are randomly found dead, drained of their blood. The city suspects a vampire is on the loose. Turns out, all the dead people were abusive parents, rude snobs, horrible pet owners, essentially people better off dead. They find the "vampire" and he's just a scientist who had just developed a blood-powered vehicle to tackle rising fuel costs.

I'd watch that.
