Ugh yeah! That poor guy.
I remember seeing this stuff a while after it happened. I mean really, one would think simple proceidure would prevent this from happening!!
At least the elevator stayed lit the whole time. I suppose that was the only thing he had going for him and the fact he could take a whiz down the elevator shaft.

o.O No... Just.. No.
I HATE elevators >.< I can only imagine what was going on in his mind.

Everytime I even get into an elevator I have problems breathing and staying calm, let alone getting STUCK in one D:

*shudders*

I know how it feels. I have terrified of lifts since I got stuck in one too.

There's this one elevator at work I have to use all the time because I don't want to climb ladders to the top of the silos!! It's 4 very tall stories up.
This elevator is realy small. It barely fits 2 people and has a technical 300Lb capacity. I can't stand using it but I do.
It does break down on occasion. Every time I get in there, I think how I'm going to get out if something goes wrong.
Before I go up to the penthouse, I usually let someone know. I have even asked how to escape it. Ugh, I just hope I never have to.
There is a phone in there and the code to call to the lab and I wear my flashlight all the time just in case the lights go out but really, it still freaks me out having to use it.

Aww, I would hate that. I don't get too concerned in lifts, but I would find that horrible.
I got stuck in a lift with two of my friends (one on crutches), and we were in it for about 20 mins.. There was a window and it started to fog up etc. So imagine that.. but for 41 HOURS!

I had a similar experience.

I decided to take the lift down 1 set of stairs instead of walking it.

Consequently, we got stuck in the lift for a whole night!!!

It was at IKEA, on friday night, at 10:00 PM when they were closing up. And we got trapped in the lift. We had to spend the night in there, It wasn't fun. and It got very hot, and the lift kept on saying 'We are experiencing minor technical difficulties' in a fake american voice. ''Do not worry, the lift will not drop!'' (Well that helps)

We got out the next morning when IKEA opened. They gave us a $30 gift card for the inconvenience.

I still use elevators and stuff, it's not actually that scary. My phone was dead and I had my mp3 so I was fine. And a bottle of water to.

Being trapped in a lift isn't scary, and it shouldn't put you off using an elevator again.

I should know, I've been trapped in one.

Wait... They only gave you $30? Forget that! I'd want some free couch or something!

It would be annoying but I guess it really depends on who you are trapped with... That could make it ultra annoying or quite a bit of...uh...fun.
