What would I do?

If I were a lousy drunk, I'd not drink! It's a completely retarted thing to do with your life/body/money/time anyway. If you are a public and supposedly important figure in the community then just behave yourself! You should anyway.

Also the thing that bothers me is this guy is upset at the cops for taking the photo and basically saying that is not a good thing to do. Well you know what, if I were in a first responder position, I'd have a camera with me too. (I personally feel naked leaving the house without mine) There is nothing wrong with that and a camera is the perfect tool to have around when you are a cop. What a stupid thing to not want the cops to have. Deal with it.
He says he's taking responsibility for his actions. Well great! That then makes the camera/cop thing is automatically moot.


Now if I really was this bonehead, I'd go for a little damage control and feel out the situation. I'd not give up the best paying job this guy ever has a chance at having again. If things were really that negative, I'd then resign.
