What are you talking about??? Not only was he kept in a broom cupboard for 10 years, when he came out, he was welcomed warmly into the wizarding community with, "It's famous Harry Potter! Oh, by the way, that asshole who wants to kill you still wants to kill you and everyone you love, OH, and you probably have to die to save the wizarding world. Have a butterbeer!"
