Puppet master? Man's bizarre show results in criminal charges
A man who police said attached a string to his penis to perform some sort of puppet show in the public area of a Federal Way apartment complex has been charged with felony indecent exposure.
Timothy Martin, 36, was seen standing on top of an air conditioning unit platform at the Arcadia Apartments,1300 S.W. Campus Drive, shortly before 10:30 a.m. on May 13. He was dressed only in an unbuttoned flannel shirt when people witnessed him fondling himself, according to court charging papers filed the next day.
According to the charging papers, one female witness "stated as Martin stood on the platform and exposed his genitals she saw that Martin had a string attached to his penis and was apparently manipulating it with the string like a puppet."
Officers called to the scene found a white string tied around Martin's penis, as well as methamphetamine and a pornographic magazine. Martin was booked into jail at the Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent.
