Three year old girl raised by her dogs

A three year old girl was found by social workers in Russia, being cared for in her family home by her pet dogs. The girl’s mother, an alcoholic, had neglected the girl, leaving her to fend for herself. Luckily her dogs adopted her into their ‘pack’.

When social workers entered the home, they found the three year old girl crawling around on all fours, with the dogs, and gnawing on bones like a dog. She also used the dogs for warmth, and barely knows how to speak, answering just yes and know to questions. For most of her communication she growls, just like a dog.

The girl, Medina, is from Ufa in Russia. Children in her neighbourhood shunned her, leaving her with just her dogs for company.

Seriously...people really should be required to go through a mental screening before having kids. Lucky the dogs were around. Funny how canine instincts work better on babies than some human parenting methods. Sad really.

To think there are capable people out there, dying to have children, and then there are these people, who are convinced that the old Roman myths of Remus and Romulus are true. Hate to break it to you sweetheart, but relying on canines to raise your offspring is sort of imbecilic.

-clucks- How sad. Although I wouldn't mind being the girl. Only having to growl, bark, bite, and munch on bones for a little while. I WOULD mind the stench though. -shiver-

I don't belive that a girl would be raised by dogs. She's probably just pretending to be a dog for attention. (what people will do to get on TV... I'd probably not be seen acting like a dog!!!

I heard this happened to a boy with chickens before.

At least the girl didn't get too old and she still has hope to be normal.

At least shes young enough that she might still be able to learn how to socialize and live a normal life. I hope they lock that poor excuse for a "mother" up for good, take away her reproductive organs just to be on the safe side....
