Toddler fine after car key goes through his eye

I'm not even a parent yet can not imagine the horror of looking up to see a car key lodged all the way into your baby's eye.

Ha!! I saw that on Inside Edition (I think it was Inside Edition...) just early this evening!!

That is terrible to happen. It was such a freak accident. Like something I could perhaps see myself doing, but praying I wouldn't be that clutzy.

Either that or something you'd see in cartoons to illistrate how uncoordinated a specific character is.

That's incredible though that the boy didn't loose his sight... or his eye not together. Very fortunate.

But why were the car keys laying around the small children anyway?
Children like shiny things. xP

Excuse me a moment while I go on my Atheist-Bastard rant here.

It just tickles me to see how the God aspect is never losing. It's always a win-win situation. The little boy didn't go blind, "Oh thank goodness, it's a miracle!" And even if he 'had' gone blind, they 'still' would have said, "Oh thank goodness it didn't kill him, it's a miracle!" .. Soooo, how does God ever lose exactly? It just bothers me that the Invisible Man who dwells on the clouds gets friggin' credit for everything, and absolutely NO blame WHAT so ever.

Oh my god. That's terrible. Thank god he lived.
I would be terrified to see a key stuck up anyones eye, especially my own kid.

Ra,
I hate to be the stereotyping bitch, but when I heard their accents, I was just waiting for the "God" part. God's sure stealing the thunder of all those surgeons!

Wow. How'd a little kid do THAT? O.O

And also, I agree with Ra. I always wonder why they thank God and not the surgeons or anyone else for saving their child's life.
