This story covers a group of women who are suing a company for an advertising campaign that is very suggestive... No doubt. But do these kinds of claims of the "power" of advertising hold any water in your opinion?

Women sue over 'watermelon advert'

A group of Bulgarian women are suing a drinks firm over an ad which shows a woman in a bikini under the slogan: 'the watermelon season is here'.

The ad, featuring a model in a melon-coloured bikini, has infuriated women's groups who say the country's men are already bad enough without any encouragement.

Now a group of 13 women are suing manufacturers Peshtera.

"You can't walk down the street now without some a**hole shouting, 'Hey - nice watermelons' and trying to see if they are ripe," a spokeswoman said.

Sorry, that one just made me laugh. And was probably said by someone with overripe, wilted watermelons that no one touches.

"The advert encourages sexism and is causing women real harm and humiliation."

"This advert deeply and permanently discriminates against us as women, illegally infringes our personal lives, and violates European law on equal treatment of sexes in the provision of services."

Give me a freakin break! Now, I know there are no photos in this article, but did you ever notice that the broads most offended by crap like this... ARE UGLY??? Of COURSE a photo of a gorgeous blonde flaunting her shit is offensive to them, they're extremely insecure! They haven't been laid in 17 years, but they watch their husbands fap furiously to photos of attractive women. Then they start crying, trudge to the kitchen for yet another snack and continue not to use facial washing products.

Feminists are such god damn victimizing little whiners who love to be offended. And they're either skinny hippies that need to eat, or giant dude-looking post-menopausals who's teenage kids have taken to calling both their parents "dad".

You know what I think??? I think the ad is VERY sexist, but the victims are the MEN. This ad suggests that men are all small-minded creatures who think with their dicks and will buy this drink simply because some topless whore is selling it. Granted, this may be true of a LOT of men, but if I'd gone this long without meeting at least one intellectual match, I'd have offed myself.
